Creamy Mushroom Sauce

Servings: 1


1 cup Shiitake-Ya™ Sliced Mushrooms, re-hydrated
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
dash of black pepper
2/3 cup of milk
1/2 cup sour cream


1. In a medium sauce pan cook mushrooms and onion in butter until tender.
2. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper.
3. Stir in milk all at once. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 1 minute more.
4. Stir in sour cream; heat through (do not boil). Tastes great over beef or chicken.
