Dried Shiitake Preparation Instruction

Procedure:

Soak shiitake mushrooms in hot water for three hours or until tender. We recommend soaking shiitake overnight.
Drain.
If desired, reserve clear portion of liquid for use in cooking.
Cut mushroom stms and discard. Squeeze out excess liquid. Slice, chop, or leave whole.
Stir-fry, steam, deep fry, BBQ, or simmer in soup
