Shiitake Chicken Soup
Ingredients:
1 cup
Shiitake-Ya™ Shiitake Slices (• Do not rehydrate)
(*you can use
Shiitake-Ya™ Gourmet Mushroom Blend instead)
1/2 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 cup dried lentils, rinsed
8 1/2 cups water
1/4 tsp. rosemary
1/2 cup pearl barley
3 medium carrots, sliced
1/3 cup dried minced onion
1 1/2 cups chopped, cooked chicken
1/2 cup chopped sun dried tomatoes
1/4 cup instant chicken bouillon granules
Procedure:
Bring all ingredients to boiling; reduce heat, cover and simmer for 40 minutes or
until Shiitake-Ya™ mushrooms are tender.
